About me

If you clicked on this page, it’s because you are curious about who writes this blog. Or maybe you got lost and frenetically are clicking on the “back” button. Either way, let me introduce myself:

My name is Dominique and I am a “mid-twenties-ish” woman who just loves to travel, create things and share ideas. I am especially interested about South Korea, as I lived there for 4 years. I speak French, English and Korean fluently. I just came back to my hometown, Montréal, and I am working hard to find my place here.

I spend too much time on the internet and I am amazed by the number of talented people it displays (and also amazed by the ridiculous things I find on it ^^). I also take hip hop dance classes and enjoy learning choreographies when I have time. I love meeting my friends and talk for hours while having a few glasses of wine (or whatever is available!).

Music. Music is definitely a huge part of my life. I discovered Korea and Japan through music and also learned the languages from songs lyrics. Also, music is connected with so many bright and clear memories that I can’t listen to an old song without remembering in what grade I was when it came out and how old I was. I also love to sing, from Kpop to American pop and rock.

I LOVE cats, wish I had one…

Korean media

Few people here know that I’ve been a permanent member of a Korean talk show entitled Global Talk Show 미녀들의 수다 which was presented on KBS2 from fall 2006 to spring of 2010. This experience has brought me a lot: television commercials, modeling photo shoots and runways and many good friends from all around the world. Thanks to this show my Korean got better every week and it allowed me to stay in Korea longer than I had planned in the first place. You’ll find many entries about my life in Korea.

Hope you enjoy my blog
